How long have you been in business?
Since 2000
Who will be working on the project? Are they employees or subcontractors?
There will likely be a combination of employees and subs. We perform some work in-house using our own employees, however we sub out more specific trades (like plumbing, electrical) to partners we have worked with for many years. They are independently licensed and bonded for their specific trade, but have worked with us for many years.
Does your company carry worker’s compensation and liability insurance?
Yes. We are fully licensed and insured. Please view our current CSLB standing here.
How much will my remodeling project cost?
This really depends on the size and scope of your project. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional value without sacrificing quality in materials, workmanship, or design. If cost is a concern, please let us know this up front and we can work with you to stay within your budget.
How long should my project take?
Similar to cost, this varies based on size and scope of project. Our goal is to get the job done right without taking any more time than necessary. We will work with you to minimize any delays and provide the best possible turnaround time, again without sacrificing quality. If there are certain scheduling restrictions you have, or important events/dates planned, please let us know.
How can I protect my home during the winter if my remodel/addition goes through the winter months?
Many people are concerned that wet wood compromises the structural integrity. This is not true. We ensure that all wood has dried out sufficiently before covering with drywall. If the wood is not sufficiently dried out, it can result in major problems years down the line. We also have the ability to cover the entire home with wrap if needed to ensure no water intrusion.
Does every remodeling job need a permit?
This varies by city, county, and scope of project.
How do I know my walls will be straight?
We not only let the wood dry out to avoid warping or twisting; we plane/stud straighten the wood.
